This week my journal readings focused on Acts 2 and some of chapter 3.  In chapter 2 verse 42, the Bible speaks about "The Fellowship of Believers".  The one word/action I have seen throughout the Bible when it speaks about fellowship is devotion.  Act 2:42 states "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer.  Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles.

Throughout the readings in my journal and using the Bible as a reading reference, the above passage really speaks to me in reference to what it takes to be a "Christian".  You have to be devoted, break bread, pray, and allow God to awe you in his many wonders and miraculous signs.  If you read on into chapter 2 it speaks about sharing with one another and giving.  I feel like this is such an important chapter to read and re-read on a regular as it reminds us what is expected from a disciple/christian.
